Dressed For The Occasion
The days slowly turn into weeks and then months
Appearance control gets more tough
Hair used to sit straight now it’s starting to curl
The face in the mirror looks rough
It’s good then that lockdown restricts who we see
So few see the cause of our shame
It should be of comfort to know that it’s true
That everyone’s feeling the same
So I’m sorry to tell, your secret’s not safe
When dressing for zoom calls, we know
That while you look great where the camera can see
You’re practically naked below
